Shenzhou XVII
The Long March-2F Y17 carrier rocket, carrying the Shenzhou-17 crewed spaceship, blasted off from Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center at 11:14 a.m. (Beijing Time) on October 26, 2023.
About 10 minutes later, Shenzhou-17 spaceship successfully separated from the rocket and entered the preset orbit. The Shenzhou-17 crew is in good condition and the launch is a complete success.
It is the 30th flight mission since the approval and launch of China's manned space program.
 
Shenzhou-17 manned spaceship successfully conducted a fast autonomous rendezvous and docking with the front port of Tianhe core module at 5:46 p.m. (Beijing Time) on October 26, 2023. The whole process took approximately 6.5 hours.
 
After all preparations were done, Shenzhou-16 crew opened a hatch in the connection cabin at 7:34 p.m. (Beijing Time) to welcome Shenzhou-17 crew. The first to step out of the Shenzhou-17 spaceship was Tang Hongbo, followed by Tang Shengjie and Jiang Xinlin, who were all greeted with hugs by Jing Haipeng, Zhu Yangzhu and Gui Haichao. Then,They moved into the Tianhe core module and took a photo to record this moment.
