Shenzhou-13 Astronaut Crew Press Meeting Held in Beijing Aerospace City

On the afternoon of June 28, 2022, 74 days after setting foot back on earth, the Shenzhou-13 crew Zhai Zhigang, Wang Yaping and Ye Guangfu met with media in Beijing Aerospace City. This is the first time the Shenzhou-13 crew has officially met with the media and the public after their return.
At the Meeting, Jing Haipeng, the Captain of the People’s Liberation Army’s Astronaut Brigade and the Deputy Director of the astronaut system, introduced the recovery situation and follow-up plans of the astronaut crew after the return. According to reports, they completed various tasks in the stages of quarantine, recovery and recuperation, and fully entered into the recovery and observation stage. At present, the astronauts are in good physical and mental state. The results of various medical examinations showed no abnormality, and the cardiopulmonary exercise function has basically recovered. In addition, their muscle strength, endurance and bone density recovered well, achieving the expected results. After completing various tasks of the recovery period and conducting a recovery and health assessment summary, the three astronauts will resume normal training and work.
During the Meeting, the crew of Shenzhou-13 answered questions from reporters about their stay in China Space Station and the situation after their return.
