2023-10-26
Shenzhou-17 crewmate have already entered the orbital module from the re-entry module after the successful fast autonomous rendezvous and docking with the space station combination. At 19:34 on 26th October, 2023 (Beijing Time), the Shenzhou-16 crewmate successfully opened the door of their "home" after a long wait to welcome the Shenzhou-17 crewmate to the "Tiangong". Later, the two crewmates took a group photo to celebrate the family reunion and to report safety to the caring Chinese people. In 2021, astronaut Tang Hongbo, as one of the first astronauts to enter China space station, witnessed the historic moment of "the Chinese people entering our own space station for the first time". Two years later, he returned to the "Tiangong” and witnessed the Chinese speed and power demonstrated in the transition of Chinese space station from "one room" to "three rooms". At the same time, Tang Hongbo has also become the only astronaut with the shortest interval between two flight missions in China so far.
