After being launched into the orbit, the Shenzhou-18 manned spaceship was successfully docked with the radial port of the Tianhe core module at 3:32 on April 26, 2024 (Beijing Time). The rendezvous and docking lasted for about 6.5 hours.

As mission planned, the three astronauts will enter Tianhe core module of the space station from the Shenzhou-18 manned spaceship. 

The crew of Shenzhou-17 have made final preparations to welcome the arrival of the Shenzhou-18, and the two spaceflight crews with an average age of less than 40 years old are about to meet at the Tiangong space station.
