According to the China Manned Space Agency, The Space Station Application and Development Phase Mission Headquarters has decided upon prudent research that Cai Xuzhe,Song Lingdong and Wang Haoze will be the crew members to carry out Shenzhou-19 spaceflight mission, and Cai Xuzhe will be the commander. Among the three Crew Members, with one from Batch 2 and two from Batch 3, Song Lingdong and Wang Haoze on their first flight mission both of them were born after 1990s. Wang Haoze is the first female flight engineer of China. 

On 29th October, 2024 (Beijing time), the three Crew Members will meet the press at the Wentiange of Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center.
