【CMSP News July 8】The 26rd Planetary Congress of Association of Space Explorers took place in Cologne, Germany from July 1 to July 5. Chinese delegation headed by Deputy Director of China Manned Space Agency attended the Congress.
The theme of the Congress is “Citizens of Space-Stewards of Earth”. 86 astronauts from all over the world and their families attended the Congress.
During the Congress, Yang Liwei and Liu Boming also held talks with Mr Andy, Secretary General of Association of Space Explorers, discussing preparation issues of the 27rd Planetary Congress of Association of Space Explorers to be held in China. It was announced at the Congress that the 27rd Planetary Congress of Association of Space Explorers will be held in Beijing, China in the autumn of 2014.

Founded in 1985, the Association of Space Explorers is an international non-government organization aimed to provide a professional forum for all astronauts throughout the world who have ever undertaken manned space flight tasks.
