Shenzhou XX
The Long March 2F Y20 carrier rocket carrying the Shenzhou-20 manned spaceship was launched at 17:17, 24th April, 2025 (Beijing Time) at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center.About 10 minutes later, the Shenzhou-20 manned spaceship was successfully separated from the rocket and entered the predetermined orbit. The crew are in good conditions. The launch achieved a complete success.
 
 
This mission is the 5th manned flight mission of China's manned space program during the phase of space station application and development, the 35th launch mission since initiation of the program, and the 571st flight of Long March carrier rockets.

After their spaceship approaches and docks with the front port of the Tianhe core module of the Tiangong, the trio will enter the space station to meet with their Shenzhou XIX peers — mission commander Senior Colonel Cai Xuzhe, Lieutenant Colonel Song Lingdong and Lieutenant Colonel Wang Haoze.
 
 
 
 
Over the next six months, the Shenzhou XX astronauts will carry out a variety of tasks, including scientific experiments, technological demonstrations, and spacewalks to install space debris shielding equipment and other external instruments. They will also retrieve equipment from the station's exterior and hold science lectures.
