With the demonstration work of the human space station project and its main systems complete, we’re making breakthroughs in key technologies of many newly developed spaceflight products, such as Tiangong 2 space lab, space station, cargo spacecraft, launch vehicles, and conducting experimental verification and production testing and development. Hainan Launch Site is under construction as planned and the project goes on smoothly.”

It has been China’s consistent pursuit to carry out international cooperation and exchange on the principle of equality and mutual benefit, mutual respect and transparency. China has collaborated extensively with many other countries and regions in space technology, space medicine research, space science experiments and astronaut selection and training. In the construction and operating phase of our space station, we will seek for international cooperation in an even more open manner and willing to share space development accomplishments with other countries, especially developing countries.”

Wang Zhaoyao added, “Human space, as one of the most representative practices in the high-tech field, reflects mankind’s great spirits to explore the unknown world and discover scientific truth and bears a country's dream for innovative development and national prosperity. China's human space project shows Chinese nation’s bravery in exploration and pursuit for excellence. Now we have only taken the first step and we will continue the long march of China’s human space project.
