The Manned Spacecraft System is mainly responsible for the development of Shenzhou series manned spacecraft. Shenzhou spacecraft, independently developed in China, can transport human and supplies into space and back. The technologies adopted are equivalent to or even better than their global counterparts, with full intellectual property rights and unique Chinese features. The spacecraft can be used for multiple purposes, not only for in-orbit observation, but also as a rendezvous and docking vehicle, meeting the needs of carrying human to and from space.
